Watch Tesla Model 3 Race Nissan GT-R At Drag Strip: Video
Has the Model 3 finally found its equal?
We recently featured a video in which the Tesla Model 3 Performance again takes down a Hellcat, but the Nissan GT-R is even a more track-oriented machine than the high HP, muscle car-like Hellcat.
Unlike the Hellcat, in which traction always seems to be a major launch problem, the Nissan GT-R appears to have the take-off much more in tune.
This video pits a Model 3 against the Nissan GT-R. The race result is indeed quite close, but a Tesla can't win them all, or can it? In all fairness, the GT-R is very purpose-built. It certainly isn't a family sedan like the Model 3.
We'd like the see the GT-R try to give the upcoming Tesla Roadster a go in a drag race such as this. We reckon the Roadster will surely come out on top in that race.
