Of course, it's just a simulation, but even in the real world, the new Roadster is simply outrageous.
The next-generation Tesla Roadster will supposedly go further per charge than any electric car ever. Elon Musk says it will boast a range of some 621 miles or more, but there's more to this electric supercar than just its range.
- 7,376 pound-feet of torque
- 0-60 mph in 1.9 seconds, making it the quickest production car in the world.
- 0-100 mph in 4.2 seconds
- Quarter mile in 8.8 seconds, which beats every other production car.
- 250+ mph top speed
- 620 miles of highway range
Now those are truly some crazy stats, but is the new Roadster fast enough to outpace a LaFerrari? In the real world, yes, as the LaFerrari hits 62 MPH in 2.4 seconds and has only 664 pound-feet of torque. Therefore, the LaFerrari is comparatively tame when matched up against the Roadster. But what about in the world of flash/CGI where anything is possible.
Watch this not-even-close-to real race featuring the new Roadster against the LaFerrari (world's worse car name). Surely we'll see some races (real though) like this when the Roadster goes on sale.
