Like the Model S, Tesla's Model X has flush-mounted door handles for better aerodynamics, but unlike the S, the X's front doors can self present.

Like the Model S, Tesla's Model X has flush-mounted door handles for better aerodynamics. The handles on the Model S present themselves when the driver approaches the vehicle.

The Model X takes this concept to a whole new level. When the driver approaches the vehicle, the doors automatically open.

Elon Musk revealed this feature when the Model X was first introduced, but it wasn't initially available. Through Tesla's over-the-air software updates, it is now functional on all Model X SUVs.
