The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E was recently officially listed on the EPA website, providing us with some additional info about the current model year.

As we know from the previous post, this year, there are seven main versions of the car, instead of eight, because Ford dropped the Route 1 with Extended Range (ER) battery and rear-wheel drive powertrain.

The EPA combined range numbers were already known and are the same as in 2022, aside from the Premium Extended Range (ER) battery versions, which got a bit more range.

The energy efficiency numbers indicate that those two versions are slightly more efficient than previously.

There are no changes in the top GT versions:

The new thing is EPA highway and city range ratings. Because the range is usually the most important for long-distance travel, especially interesting is the EPA highway range.

As we can see below, the EPA highway range is lower than EPA combined range by around 7-8 percent and this is what one should assume to not be disappointed.

What do you think?

Hopefully, in the near future, we will be able to confirm the EPA highway range with our InsideEVs' 70 mph range test.
