CEO and founder of ARK Invest — a firm that is deeply rooted and incredibly bullish when it comes to Tesla and Elon Musk — chimes in on CNBC's "Squawk Box" segment about Tesla, the Cybertruck, and the company's future.
If Cathie Wood didn't have positive vibes and wasn't bullish on Tesla, we'd be concerned, so there may not be many surprises here. However, as we spend our days covering Tesla and dealing with the plethora of negativity, skepticism, and outright outrage on many levels, which makes it even more important to have a look at both sides.
To reiterate and remain abundantly clear here, InsideEVs is not a financial publication. We don't (can't) own stock in any of the companies we cover. To be honest, it's not even something we profess to follow or fully understand. However, the situation is rampant on both sides of the fence, so it's important to take a look at both sides from time to time.
At any rate, Wood talks about Tesla's Cybertruck, the future of the company, and, arguably most importantly, competition from OEMs "Tesla Killers," which is something that has popped right back up since the Cybertruck's reveal. Interestingly, she dives into companies like Apple and its past innovations and successes to give people an idea of where ARK is coming from.
