Electric Roewe Vision-R Concept Debuts
SAIC Motor's brand Roewe unveiled at the 2015 Guangzhou Auto Show in China an interesting electric concept car.
It's called Roewe Vision-R and brings new design style to the Chinese brand.
On the drivetrain side, two electric motors (one per axle) are reported. Electric AWD is strong enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.3 seconds.
The range is outstanding at 540 km (335 miles), but we certain this is on a very optimistic test cycle.
Unfortunately, there are no other specs available.
Australian site CarAdvice suggests a production version coming, but sadly it'll be with a conventional drivetrain from SAIC partner General Motors - Buick LaCrosse.
