Ferrari has officially pulled the curtain back on the Luce. The Luce is not only Ferrari's first fully electric vehicle but also its first-ever five-seat production model.
Designed in collaboration with Jony Ive’s creative collective, LoveFrom, the Luce trades the aggressive, vent-heavy aesthetic of traditional sports cars for an unusual industrial-design look. Its silhouette is defined by floating aerodynamic wings that result in the most aerodynamic road car Ferrari has ever produced. Beyond the striking exterior, the cabin breaks new ground with a minimalist look featuring anodized aluminum and lots of tactile, physical switches.
Under the skin, the Luce features a quad-motor, all-wheel-drive architecture—a first for the Prancing Horse—capable of delivering 1,050cv (1,035 hp) in boost mode. Despite its substantial 2,260kg mass, the Luce rockets from 0-62 miles per hour in just 2.5 seconds. To maintain the driver focus of a traditional Ferrari, the company introduced a "torque management" system: steering wheel paddles allow the driver to fine-tune regenerative braking and torque delivery in real-time, providing a driving experience that replaces the feel of a standard gearbox.
Priced at approximately €550,000 ($640,000), the Luce arrives in Europe later this year, with U.S. deliveries expected to follow in 2027.
