On Monday, General Motors took the cover off the all new 2016 Chevrolet Volt. And while you can check out the official pictures of the 50 mile extended range car here, or our live from the NAIAS floor here, these illustrations here show the colors and trim levels (both inside and out) the 2016 Volt can be optioned in.

The 2016 Chevy plug-in will come in two trim levels; the base LT, and the premium LTZ.

It is still well ahead of the fall debut of the car, so no pricing on either level is yet available, but the LTZ package adds the following:

Front and rear park assist
17" aluminum wheel w/painted pockets
Advanced parking assist
Ambient lighting
Heated front and rear seating
Heated steering wheel
Heated outside rearview mirrors
Wireless device charging

It also appears that GM's new front "shutter system" (that closes the grille in typical highway driving when less airflow is required for cooling to help the aerodynamic drag and efficiency of the car) could be offered as an option on the LTZ trim given the different grilles shown between the two models. The other reason for a separate set-up could also be for the advanced parking assist sensors.
