Georgia Customer Goes To Dealership For EV That Can Fit 4 Kids. Then The Salesman Shows Him This Hyundai
“I feel like I have a better understanding of this car."
A Georgia car salesman encounters a customer in the market for an electric vehicle, so he introduces him to the Hyundai Ioniq 9.
TikTok user Tkai (@kaiiuno_) posted the promotional skit on July 21. In the video, he is standing in front of the dealership awaiting a customer. That’s lucky, because a customer just so happens to walk up. (Wink, wink.)
The customer asks Tkai, “Hey man, you work here?”
Tkai nods in the affirmative.
“I’m looking for a car, man. Something big. I’ve got four kids,” the customer says.
Tkai asks, “You got a specific type of car you’re looking for?”
The customer responds, “An EV actually.”
“We just got something new that came in with Hyundai,” Tkai replies. “And I’ve got the perfect vehicle to show you. Follow me.”
The Hyundai Ioniq 9
The video cuts to Tkai standing in front of one of the three-row electric SUVs. And he gets to selling right away: extolling the front and rear trunk space, suede interior and motorized door handles and side mirrors.
Tkai also notes the full electric control of the heated and ventilated seats, which come with a “relaxation” feature. That’s a fancy name for a mini recliner. This vehicle can comfortably fit a family of six.
The Calligraphy trim level comes with some extra perks, including massager seats, Bose speakers and 21-inch, sound-absorbent wheels.

“And you have a full-size sunroof in this vehicle as well,” he says. “All of this is about luxury. Hyundai likes to incorporate high-level technology and give you a sense of luxury for less than a luxury price, to be honest.”
At the end of the skit, the customer appears close to agreeing to the deal. The duo agree to take the Ioniq 9 on a test drive.
Viewers React to the Ioniq 9
In the comments, viewers said they too are sold on the Ioniq after Tkai’s lengthy tutorial.
“Good job,” wrote one person. “I feel like I have a better understanding of this car. Didn’t know you were such a great salesman. Keep up the good work.”
A second person said, “Not this popping up on my timeline because I’ve been looking for a new car.”
“Good product knowledge,” wrote a third user.
A fourth person simply said, “I’m sold.”
And what are the critics saying about the Ioniq 9? The reviews are similarly positive. Car and Driver called the mid-size SUV a “modern family shuttle” back in July. The outlet compliments its design, roomy interior, and more than 300 miles of range. However, it criticized the power of its long-range RWD mode, which is designed to extend battery life.
