How about a Tesla Model 3 Performance versus a second-generation 1997 Dodge Viper GTS Coupe? Well, as you know, the Model 3 is quick off the line due to its instant electric torque. The Viper is surely no slouch, however, so this is an interesting matchup.
In terms of specs, the Viper packs an 8.0-liter V10 engine, which cranks out 450 horsepower and 490 pound-feet of torque. The Model 3's all-electric powertrain is right on par, with 460 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. The Tesla weighs in at over 4,000 pounds, while the Viper is lighter than one might expect, at 3,200 pounds.
