I’ve been following China’s auto industry since the late 1990s, when I lived Shanghai and wrote about it first for BusinessWeek and then for Automotive News. ChinaEV was born after I moved back to the U.S. in 2008 so I could keep a toe in the China waters. EVs seemed like a natural topic as I had already been following the EV scene in China, and I now live in California, where more than half of all-electric vehicles sold in the U.S. are bought.
While still working as a journalist, I am always seeking new opportunities related to China and/or the automotive world.
