The Renault 8 Gordini Concept reinterprets the spirit of the historic Gordini with an electric twist, born in the 1960s as the sporty version of the Renault 8 and becoming a driving school for an entire generation.
The concept is a two-seat coupe that is 162.2 inches long, 74.0 inches wide, and just 50.0 inches tall, with a 266 hp electric motor. The design revisits iconic elements such as the six round headlights, rectangular wheel arches, rear grille, and double white stripe, reinterpreted through a “café racer” philosophy.
The interior follows a minimalist approach, with a brushed aluminum dashboard, circular digital instruments, Alcantara, and sport seats with blue velvet inserts. The project was developed internally at Renault after more than 300 design proposals.
