The California Governor’s Office of Planning and Research released an extensive publication (180 pages) titled “Zero-Emission Vehicles in California: Community Readiness Guidebook.

This guidebook is what’s to be used by communities throughout California to support the switch to ZEVs.

In this guidebook you’ll find info on just about everything ZEV-related in California.

Bookmark this guidebook, as it should now be considered the go-to resource from here on out for answering most of your ZEV questions.

Just spent some time with it. There are some very interesting nuggets in there, like requiring anybody to be able to access and pay for charging at any public charge station with a credit card and/or mobile payment even if they are not a member (‘out of network fees may apply’ but must be clearly posted.). Gives good insight into the future, although I had to laugh at their fuel cell vehicle adoption rate predictions from a 2010 study. Those are DOA.

Thanks for posting this! The ZEV credits seem to be understood by very few if any. I will read through it when I have some time, and refer back to it often.
