Ok… I get it… Tesla doesn’t advertise nin your magazines or websites… and until the 200 mile cars come out… EVs are old news… kinda sad though that just as Leaf and Model S are hitting stride… no awards. Hybrids are old news too.
These nominees are a collective yawn.

Model S won the green car of the year award in 2013. Leaf was the car of the year in 2011. There just isn’t any interesting new 2015 BEVs

I’m glad the Volkswagen GTE is on the list. I think that is a great car. I wish it were for sale in the USA. And as much as I love the i8, it is hard for me to want to give it any sort of “green” award simply because if only the elite can afford it, how much difference will it actually make for the planet?

Has anyone noticed a reduction in the number of articles posted per day? Well I have. Is it because of “new server” stress syndrome? 🙂

There certainly is “new server” stress syndrome happening, although I believe 95% of the bugs are out, but story frequency is still the norm – 12 pieces over last 24 hours.

We don’t like to run stories off the front page – not everyone checks in more than once a day. We actually have 209 stories at some stage of development at the moment (184 completed on the sked)…it is a bit of a problem the other way atm.

The servers do seem to be working much better. Thanks for the fixes because it was really annoying.

“and the best car in the world this year is a VW passat”

WTF?

European Car of the Year

“Green” and car…only on Bizarro World. 🙂

I guess “World Car” = European car.
