One of the things Winding Road does best in its video reviews, is to capture what it feels and sounds like (via using binaural mics) while sitting in the driver’s seat of the car being reviewed.

This video showcases the 2017 Kia Soul EV + in typical Winding Road style.

Per the video description:

Wear headphones! The audio in this video was recorded with in-ear binaural microphones. With headphones or earbuds on, you’ll feel like you’re actually sitting in the driver’s seat.

We upload new videos every week that give quick insight into what our weekly test cars look, feel, and sound like when they’re being driven joyfully.

I can beat his “eco” level anyday. I frequently get 8/8. 😉

    The Range sucks..

Range suits my urban mission in PDX metro perfectly. No range anxiety at all. At $22,718 out the door, it is a bargain as well.

    Nearly 100 mile range sucks?

    1. Otto Sayas says:

Only to folks who lack real world knowledge of what is appropriate for an urban car. And, the way I drive (mostly city 45 mph or less) nets me an avg of 108 miles of range.
