Watch Tesla Model S Race Dodge Demon: Video

Finally, a Demon that hooks up.

We’ve seen the Tesla Model S crush countless other cars at the strip. Its advantage often boils down to traction from AWD and instant full torque. Though don’t get to thinking the Model S isn’t a drag-worthy machine on the power side.

However, there are more powerful cars out there. And, more specifically, cars built for the track. Remember, the Model S is a big and heavy family sedan.

Regardless, the Model S usually wins in races against cars that seemingly should beat it. Oftentimes, the win comes due to lack of proper hookup and traction from the gasser. That’s not the case here though, as this Dodge Demon really hooks up and flies off the line.

Earlier today we posted on a Tesla Model 3 racing against a tuned Audi RS7. That particular race ended with the Model 3 losing slightly.

Can the Demon win this race against the Model S though? Click play on the video above to find out.

Just for fun some balance though, hit up a few of these link to see how Teslas often fares against the likes of the Demon and various Hellcats:

Not bad at all for a non- performance model. Hard to tell (at least on my small screen), but it looks like it’s not even a dual motor, meaning it’s an older model too.

The real “complete waste of time” is switching over to non street legal baby buggy front tires just to win a drag race. Does that Demon even have a front passenger seat?

Hmm… are the rears track tires?

Snore, Snore… another drag race… yeah yeah I get it ICE sucks. Meanwhile Tesla delivers it’s first Model 3 outside North America.

All demons, devils, monster trucks and many drag racers will lose against the upcoming 2020 Tesla Roadster.

Gasaholics beware!!

Let’s see the race against an E-COPO Camaro

Mean’t to say “Demon race against an E-COPO Camaro”

The complete waste of time Tesla has beaten the Demon plenty of times. Oh, and it’s done so with street legal tires, too.

I wonder how the 2-door Demon will do against Tesla’s upcoming 2-door offering?

11.69? Performance Model 3 does that.

Demon ran 10s at 133mph. Complete beat down on the trap speed. Not even close. Higher traps with traction will generally have better ETs.

is not sedan.
