Mercedes-Benz presents its Concept EQA – the all-electric compact model from the upcoming EQ lineup – in Sicily (Italy).

Two new videos were released at this time, mostly focusing on the exterior and appeal to emotions.

Mercedes-Benz Concept EQA: Electrifying Sicily
The beautiful and electric Mercedes-Benz Concept EQA is electrifying the beautiful and majestic landscapes of Sicily.

Mercedes-Benz Concept EQA & Marcin Öz: Time to do something new
Just like Mercedes-Benz with the Concept EQA, Marcin Öz, former bass player of “The Whitest Boy Alive” knew “It was time to do something new”.

The concept EQA was unveiled in Frankfurt last September with promise of long-range and high-level performance.

  • more tha 60 kWh battery
  • more than 249 miles (400 kilometers) NEDC range (probably more like 200 miles /321 km real world/EPA driving)
  • 0-100 km/h (62 mpg) in 5 seconds

Looks so aerodynamic! I hope they will keep this style for production version also 🙂

Doesn’t look very aerodynamic.
Hatchback is the devil of areodynamics. Those Euro hippsters love them though.

The body curves and panel blends look crazy smooth in the video…
Makes me want to know the cd…

Love the shape. I wasn’t crazy about the design until I saw it rolling around from different angles. That’s really gorgeous. It’s going to be hard to pick my next EV!!!

It’s a gorgeous looking car but why is the NEDC range still quoted, we all know it’s a joke – that real world figure of an estimated 200 miles just isn’t enough. By the time this hits the road it’s gonna be eclipsed by so many other models. At least 300 miles please MB
