It’s so ugly, reminds me of a new generation Pontiac Aztec, why would I want that as my wallpaper?

Ugly as hell – then i prefer to drive a nice looking 30kWh BEV

Yeah, it boggles the mind why the US release would highlight this bland grey color. I mean I know the rest of the world thinks Americans lack taste and style thanks to our current president, but come on,…

Ummm, sorry but I think it goes *a lot* further back than that! Can you name a single US car that, by European standards, was ‘beautiful’, in the same way an E-Type Jaguar or Ferrari 275 GTO or just about any Aston Martin, Austin Healey 3000, etc, etc, etc…?

Yesterday I had the extreme displeasure of finding myself behind a new Toyota C-HR right after lunch. I didn’t know if I’d be able to hold my food down looking at the back of that hideous thing.

This “put as many angles, surfaces and materials together as possible” style of design is nauseating but clearly the current fad.

i went to a hyundai dealership to see the gas powered version. Its an attractive car. The EV “grill-less” version makes it uglier, but the front end prob gives it a better cd.

Two things that make me hesitate about the Kona – the longish hood, and the flying buttress center console. Also the fender flares bug me, too – especially when they are not body color. They are (likely) increasing the aero drag, and they look like an afterthought.

Lots of compact “SUVs” have those plastic fender arches. The Mazda CX-3 and Subaru Crosstrek for example. It’s a common styling trend.
