Video: Three-Wheel Epic TORQ Roadster is a Blast to Drive

Ever since Epic unveiled its electric TORQ Roadster, we wondered what it would be like to pilot the scary quick three-wheeled machine. It is, after all, the world’s fastest street-legal 3-wheeled vehicle.
Epic delivered the first TORQ Roadster on April 6 (to a former Tesla exec) and hopes to sell at least 50 more by year’s end, but the burning question on everyone’s mind has got to be “Is the TORQ truly a road-worthy machine?”
Yes…and it’s apparently a blast to drive, but it’s classified as a motorcycle, so don’t expect it to be the safest way to get from point A to point B.
The $65,000 TORQ Roadster is a tinkerers dream machine, according to Epic boss Chris Anthony. It’s infinitely adjustable and mods are readily available.
But still, how’s that 3-wheel setup work in the real world? To find out, check out Translogic’s exclusive first drive video review. Hint…there’s no inside tire lifting when pulling 1.3 Gs in a corner.
