Video: This Here is the World’s Most Head-Turning Nissan LEAF

Now That’ll Turns Heads

Ready to see heads turn as a Nissan LEAF rolls down the street?

Well, you’ve come to the right place then.  That’s for sure.

As Nissan says:

“Watch as this Nissan LEAF hits the streets and turns a lot of heads. Why? Because it is the future of motoring, see it uncovered.”

We can’t help but wonder if this LEAF would sell for half price.

You could open-air it in the passenger seat or escape the elements as the driver.  Either way, you’re sure to get loads of looks as you roll down the boulevard.

Very funny, but watch out if it rains!

I saw a photo of Carlos Ghosn sitting in this thing recently. I didn’t realize it could actually drive around!

It probably can’t. The video is fake.
It’s a complete car in all the driving scenes

I don’t know, Dan. The completeness of the internal components implies this car IS real. You can see on later scenes that the windscreen is not connected on the far side. Watch closer. I think it’s real.

They had to totally modify a lot of the car, then, not just cut away. Look at the shocks, supporting…air. It would ride like total crap, if it rode at all, like some are saying it didn’t.

I wonder what the Cd is.

I guess no more audio “surround” system. Also, this gives the word “coupe” a completely new meaning… 🙂

Oh, no. Tony is going to have to do another range test on this version.

I’m not 100% sure, but I’d be willing to wager that the CdA and weight on this car are both slightly less than a regular LEAF, so it should perform better…at least in the city, (=

I think it looks better without the body.

Nissan should be proud …according to Edmunds, three of their current models (Leaf, Juke, and Cube) are among the 100 ugliest cars of all time:
