With the BMW i3 launch already well underway, the German automaker is now turning its attention to the i8.

Previous videos in this series from BMW have focused on performance and the vehicle’s unique laser lights.
Now it’s time for design
This video discusses some of the unique design features of the i8, including its scissor doors.
Design wise, the i8 is spectacular, so we’re glad that the folks at BMW saw fit to highlight this aspect of the plug-in vehicle.

Why must they call them kidney grills. They are neither grills nor kidneys. They are obviously visual nostrils. And frankly they are stupid these days. They could easily transition them to pencil mustaches or even get rid of the feature entirely.
The blue color is also a tad 1980s.
