UK Plug-In Electric Car Sales Increased By 37% In April
After the record result last month (in the typically high month of March), Britain notes decent growth of plug-in electric car sales in April yoo.
In total ,3,858 new registrations were noted, which is 36.8% more than year ago and at 2.3% market share (compared to 1.85% in 2018).
- 929 BEVs (up 39 percent year-over-year)
- 2,929 PHEVs (up 36 percent year-over-year)
Because BEV sales didn’t exceed 1,000, we believe consumers in UK aren’t showing much interest in the new Nissan LEAF (either that, or the effective price isn’t tempting).
