Tesla Finally Releases Full Video From Semi, Roadster Reveal

Now, you can finally watch the Tesla Semi reveal event in its entirety … or should we say the Roadster event?

Usually, Tesla releases an official video after its big events. In fact, in the past, it’s happened as soon as the next day. This was not the case with the Semi/Roadster event. To add insult to injury, the livestream that evening was pretty buggy, so people have been asking for a copy of the entire event for some time now.

Elon Musk at recent Roadster 2.0 reveal

Tesla events tend to happen very late at night and don’t usually start on time. This is especially problematic for people that live in time zones which make the broadcast fall in the wee hours of the morning.

This is also not the first time that automaker’s livestream was finicky. Waiting up until 2:00 or 3:00 AM only to find out that the stream isn’t functioning properly is not anyone’s idea of fun. Nonetheless, now we can all watch it in our spare time.

Tesla Semi & Roadster Reveal

Semi is the safest, most comfortable truck ever. Four independent motors provide maximum power and acceleration and require the lowest energy cost per mile.

If you don’t have a bunch of free time, there’s always this video, compliments of The Verge:

Great presentation by Elon.

Funny how th audience was in state of shock on the surprise Roadster reveal. Elon kept throwing out Roadster details each one sounding outlandish… hard core smack down indeed.

People minds were blown as Husk predicted.

Musk, oops.

Why did they change the music it used to be the Beastie boys when the roadster came out

Song Royalties? Maybe that’s why there was a delay in availability? Just guessing.

You’re probably right. YouTube is nasty about even background music being copyrighted. Tesla probably had to negotiate with the copyright owner (Def Jam Records) so that ads wouldn’t be displayed on the video.

This is gonna be huge impact to trucking industry. Car shipping industry will get a hit too. The question is will it be positive or negative impact?

If it lowers my grocery bill, it will be a positive impact. Reduction in air pollution will be dramatic.

The replay was actually available on Tesla’s website for replay soon after the live event ended. I was able to watch the re-broadcast. But I also didn’t close my browser and stayed logged in. So I don’t know if that is somehow related.
