On September 10 Zero Motorcycles celebrated its 10th anniversary at its headquarters in Santa Cruz.

This special achievement was underlined by launching special Zero DSR 10th Anniversary model limited to just 50 units.

Here we caught some photos and videos from the event (extended video of 10th anniversary celebration below):

“We had an amazing day at our 10th Anniversary Celebration at company headquarters in Santa Cruz!

More than 275 owners and electric motorcycle enthusiasts were treated to talks, demo rides, factory tours, an accessory and apparel store, and great food. Speakers included John Flores on his remarkable cross-country trip retracing the historic 1903 journey of George Wyman; electric motorcycle pioneer Terry Hershner; and Zero Chief Technology Officer Abe Askenazi. Thanks to everyone who attended. We’re more excited than ever about the next 10 years!”

Skyline on the mountain ridge there is a big road bike place, glad to see less polluting alternatives.

I test rode an SR. Very impressive. Like being on an aircraft. The motor just kept accelerating. Next thing I knew I was at 90 mph. Whoo. Slowed down before ticket. Been riding motorcycles for over 45 years. Didn’t miss shifting at all. Rode it in the hills in twisties and had a ball with all the power. Really enjoyed the regen. Handled so nice Now if I only had the 12 grand. If I did I would buy it. Nice bike.

I had a chance to see a pair of those at the National Drive Electric Week. If I was at all into motorcycles I would be buying one of those.
