At SEMA 2016, Unplugged Performance revealed its custom Tesla Model X P90DL at the Toyo Tires booth and we’ve got video of this one-off X from the show floor (and also a gallery below).

From the Specialty Equipment Market Association event, here are changes that makes this Model X special:

  • vivid orange
  • an aerodynamics package
  • carbon fiber adjustable rear wing
  • sports suspension kit
  • UP-02 Ultra Light forged wheels
  • Brembo carbon ceramic 6-piston brakes
  • 285/35R22 Toyo Proxes ST II tires

Unplugged Performance Tesla Model X P90D Ludicrous

This 2016 Tesla Model X makes its world debut at the Toyo Tires booth during SEMA Show. Painted a vivid orange, this electric machine features an Unplugged Performance aerodynamics package, carbon fiber adjustable rear wing, Unplugged Performance sports suspension kit and Unplugged Performance UP-02 Ultra Light forged wheels.

‘Ludicrous Mode’ programming delivers rapid acceleration, while Unplugged Performance x Brembo carbon ceramic 6-piston brakes provide the stopping power. Providing the necessary grip is a set of 285/35R22 Toyo Proxes ST II tires.

So what’s he before and after range on the aerodynamics package

30% lower after tuning.
U don’t think they made the car better. They just made it custom.

I don’t like it.. Wonder how much range you would lose with this mod? Don’t think they did any wind tunnel testing..

Still surprised too see how thin the floor really is. You can see it well in the photo with the rear doors open.
