Tesla Model S P90D Ludicrous 0 To 60 MPH – Video

SEP 22 2015 BY ELECTRICCARSTV 9

Here’s a brief video showing the Tesla Model S P90D dash from 0 to 60 MPH.

Update: Video has been taken offline, in its place is this 0 to 62mph…and beyond launch.

The video uploader states:

“I drove the new Tesla Model S with high performance “ludicrous mode” option today, this car will honestly stop your heart. Here’s my video of my test drive!”

Too bad the user removed the video.

And I took the day off to watch this video and the Pope of course.

So what, the user removed the video. We can still comment on the written part of this article.

Hilarious.

Ludicrous.

Also too bad I spend almost ZERO times matting the accelerator going from 0 – 60 in my daily driving. Almost makes me want to hold off on a used Tesla as they all seem to get relentlessly hammered on making full throttle runs far more than what seems normal. All those repeated stresses will show up at some point in the cars life with expensive half shaft replacements , motor mounts etc.

For only producing like 80k cars now and the amount of people saying that Tesla has swapped engines out is VERY alarming to me. A large amount of them seem to be Dual Motor cars with a “milling” noise from the front engine too… we shall see how they stand up over the next 5 years.

The people who are getting motor warranties must be doing insane/ludicrous launches almost constantly. Thrash any car and it’ll fail prematurely. All this insane acceleration can also be dangerous in built areas.

People who think motors get hurt if used at full throttle:

Try to save your electric window motor next time by lowering your window in a more peaceful way.

Also this is p85d, original video made on autobahn with germans onboard.
