Tesla Model S Makes “10 Best Cars for the Money” List

Though expensive, the Tesla Model S has managed to find a way onto Autobytel’s list of the “10 Best Cars for the Money.”

And for the money, there’s no competition out there for the Tesla Model S, so we agree with Autobytel’s selection process to include Tesla’s electric sedan.

Here’s some of what Autobytel says of the Model S:

“The Silicon Valley upstart has pretty much set the automotive world on its ear. Completely shattering every preconception of what an electric car could—and could not be, the Tesla Model S is at once powerful, luxurious and prestigious; while delivering up to 265 miles of range on a single charge. What’s more, if BMW made an electric 5 Series, dynamically, the result would very closely resemble the Tesla Model S.”

“Those expecting the world’s first practical fully electric luxury sedan to be an amalgamation of compromises are going to be happily disappointed. The Tesla Model S is a fully formed, well thought out effort. What’s more, the vast majority of drivers will find it capable of far more performance potential than they will ever have a desire to exploit on the road.”

Autobytel closes out its Model S overview with this statement:

Model S is Only Plug-In Vehicle on the List

Sure, if you’ve got money to burn! Get it? Burn!

What, too soon? 🙁

LOL. Good one!!!

Well played. 😀

Can’t wait to get hitched up!

I heard the Model S also beat out Weber, Charbroil and the George Foreman Grille to take the #1 spot in the 10 Best BBQ Grill Competition.

The Model S is a very safe car. I do wonder how the latest fire started but if there is an issue I’m sure they will fix it quickly. In none of the instances did the fire get into the cabin of the car.

Why isn’t the Volt in the list?
