Nobody has a clue what the upcoming Tesla Model 3 will look like. It’s for that reason that EasyCharge.me took two shots at rendering the Model 3.

The first set of renderings (above) show the Model 3 as a rakish, coupe-like (but with four doors) car, while the second set of renderings (below) depict tha Model 3 as more of a CUV with suicide doors.

If you had to pick one of the two, which would you choose?

The first one of course.

The first one is a cool looking sport car. The second one is a ugly CUV. But i would prefer a size/look similar to a Audi A4 hatchback.

Me too. I’d add a spoiler to the rear deck lid though.

Spoiler? By the Flying Spaghetti Monster, no!

The nose on the first one makes me think of a Mitsubishi EVO. Or an old “shark” BMW.

The first is impractical for mass market. The second one looks like it could hold 2 people and hunting and camping gear.

First one looks too much like the Mirai, I like the second one.

The first looks good, but it looks more like a sports sedan, a sleeker mustang or Camaro type car, no back seat, small trunk. Not really good for a mass market family car, though looks nice.

The CUV is (IMO) hideous as far as looks. But it does look much more practical.

Over all though I would imagine that the Model 3 sedan and CUV will look identical to each other save from the raised back end on the CUV version. Much like the Mazda 3 sedan and hatch versions do now. Doing so would cut costs drastically between the two models and help with the price point Musk seems to be shooting for.

No, no, no… the door design isn’t nearly complex enough to offer the delays needed. I’m thinking the front rolls back into a roof line like a garage door and the rear doors are lambo style, but hinged in the lower rear quarter panel.
Of course the handles will be holograms.

Meh. . . Both the front and rear doors should roll into the floor.

Seen that b4. There’s so many issues w/it and things that can go wrong.

I hope there’s no large rocks under the car.

A bit too bulbous but we are getting there. On the suicide doors, please don’t, standard doors are really cool actually.

Please stop posting these stupid guesses of what the Model 3 will look like.

Chip Foose drawings don’t help with the real deal. Since there isn’t any real art from Tesla themselves, this car is still vapor.

I would like to see something like a 200C Chrysler or Audi A4. A small 4-door with some style.

Yet another CUV doesn’t interest me. If I need power or people capacity or towing capacity (or all three), I take the 6-passenger RAM HEMI.

Ugly and Uglier.

That volt comparison, the Volt looks like an older Honda Civic, nice try GM.

I’m not seeing it.

News flash… most cars look similar.

The shape of the Sedan’s “cheaper” looking nosecone bugs me, but I do like the idea of having something different and more progressive with the nose cone / grill area…

Back-lit graphics of the top trim and Tesla logo would look VERY cool as daytime running lights. Making them change color depending on the vehicle’s various modes, would also be quite useful. Colors or blinking could indicate charge mode / level speed, autonomous driver search mode, etc.

Lets hope M3 is just a little bit more futuristic. 🙂

I’m hoping for something that actually looks different.

(It’s the “Spinner” from “Blade Runner”)
