Apparently, it’s already one-year anniversary time for Tesla Motors in China.  To celebrate the occasion, Tesla delivered the first batch of Model S P85Ds to Chinese buyers:

“Tesla delivered its first shipment of Model SP85D electric cars to Chinese customers on Friday. The cars are the most highly equipped of all Tesla cars and were shipped to mark the first anniversary of the company’s official entry into the Chinese market.”

I like how the narrator calls it the Model…”SP85D”

I actually think that is a pretty good description of it.
It’s not a Model P, it’s a Model S P85D, so SP85D actually makes more sense than just P85D. 🙂

Like the Model X performance model might be called XP85D. 🙂

“…Model X performance model might be called XP85D.”

I miss Windows XP. 🙁

I still have it running on some old systems. It still works and I’m not worried about hackers hitting those old boxes.

To me it should be, “Model S” “P85D”
Not “Model” “SP85D”

Semantics… 😉 When there is an XP too surely people will start to abbreviate it.

First time”Hey look at my Model S performance version with an 85 kWh battery and dual motors”.

50th time “Hey look at my Model S P85D”

100th time “It’s an SP85D.”

This is too long… Not good.
