Sure looks like Signature Red to us, but what do you think?

This latest Tesla Model 3 sighting leads to yet one more color being captured on the car on public roads. This one looks to be Signature Red, or something very close to it, at least.

Could this color be the “something cool” tesla CEO Elon Musk hinted at in a recent Tweet?

Out of all the colors we’ve now seen on the Model 3, which would you choose? Black? White? Blue? Silver? Red? Or this new possibly Signature Red hue?

Signature Red?

The final reveal of the Model 3 in full production form will take place sometime in July. Ahead of that, a small viewing party will get an up-close look at the Model 3 on June 2 and 3.

It’s clearly a conspiracy. Tesla keeps repainting the same prototype over and over. 🙂

It is temperature sensitive paint, different shades for different temps! ♨️?

Overall the exterior of the model 3 looks good, but looking at the shot from the rear, it looks like someone glued a homemade hardtop onto a convertible.

That is not even close to s3xy.

And here the whole time watching that video, the first thing that came to mind, was s3xy, and then thinking about the new Leaf, and saying to myself, how could anyone consider it over this one, unless it’s sold a much cheaper price.

Because of the high cost of batteries, design over cost becomes much more important, because there is very little leeway for price reductions, so other manufacturers better get the design right.

Some people want, and won’t sacrifice their buying decision, on anything but the utility of a hatchback. Model Y is what some holders out are waiting for.

I noticed that too.. I look at that same dash every day, so I recognized it immediately.

Seems to be quite a few sightings lately. And I’m sure there are more than we actually hear about. So it seems like Tesla is definitely getting ready for mass production very soon. Maybe they will really start deliveries in July after all?

Someone tell me, has a car in history been this much road tested before production? Maybe it’s the excitement of so many people out there whipping out their cell phones at the first site of one, but it seems like every other new car model on the market, had so very little exposure, and usually hiding under some kind of camouflage.

I know the Bolt has a very large road test before production, but hard press to think of others.

The whole simpler drive train and minimalist dash, certainly lends the Model 3 to potentially being released with less issues, than other cars in the past, so I hope they knock it out of the park, and it’s an instant hit with all those waiting for it.

For one, it will light a fire under every car manufacturer on the planet, and really kick-start the EV revolution.

I hope it follows the Model T production numbers, where they manufacturer over a million a year! I know, that would be insanely difficult to pull off in today’s market, especially at it’s price bracket.

The 2011 Volt also had almost a year of pre-production cars on a national road test drive.

The break and turn lights look small and weak. very confusing having the indicator light in red when orange is so much safer.

I noticed that too. Sometimes it seems to blink once. In Australia it will definitely have to be amber unless they get a serious exemption or the design rules are changed. Not as bad a new Ford I saw the other day where the front blinked was down on the bumper and near the middle of the car, basically didn’t see it and just noticed the mirror blinker at the last minute. These are essential safety guides and need to be bright and visible.
