See Jaguar I-PACE Electrify Streets Of Rome

MAY 5 2018 BY MARK KANE 11

Jaguar promotes its first all-electric model with a new video called Electrifying Rome.

The company shows the Jaguar I-PACE with its Formula E team driver Mitch Evans from the Formula E ePrix in Rome earlier this year.

The video shows that the I-PACE is like a silence enclave in city traffic. Another part emphasized is the range (480 km WLTP) and performance (0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds).

Cool, its getting closer to reality…

It’s already on sale in Europe. So, reality.

I-Pace is not on sale yet in Europe. Production has started, but the salable units have not been released, I hear July 1 for release.

It’s a very nice car, but since it is shorter (in height) than a Chevy Bolt EV, can’t see how they are calling it an SUV, or that the media is letting them get away with it.

Nowhere in the video does Jaguar call the I-Pace an SUV.

Jaguar does call it an SUV… but who cares what they call it, its damn nice… we ordered one…

Yet everywhere else, they do.

Yeah, they have definitely greyed the line of what an “SUV” is…

I believe they call it “SAV” for Sports Activity Vehicle, which is an improvement on “utility” for sure, thats Land Rover’s job 🙂

Wow. what a great video. Love the ipace.

Jaguar’s marketing and media strategy and execution with the introduction of the I Pace has been very well executed.
