Robots Build Tesla Model X – Factory Video

Tesla Model X Being Built By Robots

Tesla Model X Being Built By Robots

This brief 15-second video shows off some aspects of assembling components for the Tesla Model X.

Set to classical music, Tesla calls this video a “Symphony of robots building Model X.”

Unfortunately, there’s not a whole lot to see in the video, but still, it’s not often we get to see inside the Fremont factory.

Video description (with some bold claims by Tesla):

“Model X is the safest, fastest and most capable sport utility vehicle in history. With all-wheel drive and a 90 kWh battery providing 257 miles of range, Model X has ample seating for seven adults and all of their gear. And it’s ludicrously fast, accelerating from zero to 60 miles per hour in as quick as 3.2 seconds. Model X is the SUV uncompromised.”

Don’t really get to see a lot in the clip, but I like the idea of advertising what’s going on with the Model X.

Appreciation for Tesla’s latest vehicle will continue to grow with time, now that production is ramping.
