Luggage And A Porsche 918 Spyder Don’t Pair Well

Apparently, it takes no less than 4 individuals to cram one piece of oversized luggage into the “frunk” of a Porsche 918 Spyder.

As this video proves, the 918 Spyder doesn’t approve of hauling luggage.

A briefcase or two…sure, but nothing much larger please.

Of course, the 918 Spyder is not the ideal vehicle for a road trip in which luggage-hauling is a necessary requirement.

The 918 Spyder does everything so well that we’ll overlook this minor issue.  We’d be willing to take the trade off.  Leave the luggage behind, wear only the clothes you have on and enjoy the world’s most advanced plug-in vehicle.  Luggage and clean clothes are so over rated anyways, don’t you think?

Well said. +1

0-60 in 2.5 seconds works for me. With that kind of performance, be glad it holds more than a motorcycle.

Remember, this has front and rear motors. Don’t try and compare it to a Model S, which is like a moped compared to the 918 when it comes to acceleration. The 918 holds the Nurburgring production car record. Under seven minutes. The model S would go into limp mode on that track.

who gives a f*ck about the track?

A few second lead in 0-60mp, a few hours behind in loading, LOL

Who needs luggage? If there aren’t clean clothes waiting for me in my room when I get there, both the hotel’s concierge and my butler are getting fired before I get back.

Ha ha, really very funny, they need Model S.

2.5 seconds, woah. But with Model S he could save 30 minutes baggaging…

stupid rich idiots

an outlander phev will be way faster

Porsche does offer a wonderful set of luggage designed to fit in all it’s vehicles. These folks just need to pick a color and order it.
