Rimac Automobili Entering Hong Kong With Help From China Dynamics
Rimac Automobili recently introduced its Concept_One electric supercar in Hong Kong, from where comes one of Rimac’s two new investors – China Dynamics (former Sinocop Resources, focused on metals and mineral trading).
China Dynamics’s chairman Cheung Ngan said that company will put all its resources into developing batteries for new-energy cars:
“We are proactively seeking business opportunities to tap the enormous potential of the electric-vehicle market.”
The plan is also to develop batteries for Rimac Automobili in which China Dynamics plans to have 10% stake.
“Cheung said the company had entered into a non-legally binding agreement with Rimac Automobili for a possible acquisition of 10 per cent of the Croatian carmaker’s enlarged share capital.”
Concept_One accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds with speed limited to 304 km/h (~190 mph), but the price of $1 million is out of range of most humanoids.
