Renault recently pointed us to a fan-made ad of its Twizy quadricycle – Renault Twizy “No Features” released by Eduardo García.

Renault Twizy

It’s one of the most entertaining ads for the “fully equipped” electric vehicle we’ve seen to date.

Hopefully the folks at Honda will take a look and maybe try to improve their singing hydrogen molecules” concept for the Clarity lineup before the plug-in options arrive.

  1. DangerHV says:

I like this ad. It could be greatly expanded on to target complaints many people have about their current ICE cars. Doing it in a humorous way like this will get people to contemplate EV benefits in a very positive light. Informative and entertaining. (opposite Honda ad)

  2. KUD says:

Why are all the good EV ads made by Fan’s instead of the Manufacturers?

  3. Hans Wurst says:

Because fans love their EVs and manufacturers hate them?

    1. Anon says:

      Mostly true.

  4. SJC says:

Twizy is now open source, I could see people doing Zip cars and eCabs with these.

  5. Pushmi-Pullyu says:

    That’s great!

They could also have pointed out it doesn’t have — or need — a muffler.
