Renault Electric Cars Arrive In Australia

Renault introduced its two flagship electric cars – ZOE and Kangoo Z.E. – in Australia where EV offerings have been rather scant and manufacturers were complaining about the lack of incentives.

Renault electric car sales there will probably be limited and even after the first logged sales, the company website asks only to register interest in EVs. It doesn’t seem to let you buy the cars yet.

The question burning in out minds is whether we will see ZOE someday in the U.S.?

According to the video, only for government/business fleets at this point.

Considering how backward the federal govt is in Aus’, this is major news!

Elena Woods is the model line manager at Renault Australia? That’s fantastic I met her at an EV event about 3 years ago and she was really down to earth and fantastic with my 2 boys, answering all their questions. She’s a great ambassador for EV’s. I guess that is the thing about the Australian EV market, only those passionate about the cause are involved.
