“The Yota Company, famous for its mobile phones, will – along with Revolta Motors – install 100 charging stations for electric cars in Moscow and Saint Petersburg this year, the companies announced in Moscow… Revolta Motors is the official distributor of Tesla cars in Russia.”

Interesting to see charging infrastructure expansion planned for Russia too.

It sure seems like most of the countries around the globe are beginning to embrace electric cars, doesn’t it?

I wonder what the market is like for Tesla in Russia.
My guess is we’re bound to sell many thousands of cars there every year.

Is it just me, or would anyone else have a problem with a car called “Revolta”?

Putin and his henchmen would have a problem with that name.

In Slovakia there is a car called Skoda. Skoda means “unfortunately”

In Soviet Russia, Tesla is Revolta.

“Revolta Motors is the official distributor of Tesla cars in Russia.”

Huh? Say what? Official distributor? Is distributor a euphemism for dealer?

The preconditioning in Russia, even more so in Siberia, must be a very desirable asset.

Anyone out there in Alaska with a similar extreme cold weather experience?

Who the hell are Revolta motors and why are they claiming to be distributor for Tesla?

I really hope these are DC Fast chargers and not 80 level 2’s. That to me is the real question about this.
