LEAF sales in the US, Japan and Europe combined total 3,736 units in January, a spectacular figure and easily the highest on the global level for any plug-in vehicle in January 2014.  Of interest is that the Nissan LEAF took the #1 spot in January in the US, Europe and Japan in the plug-in segment.

Turning our attention back to Europe, the Volvo V60 Plug-In Hybrid was the #2 seller among plug ins in Europe for January at 439 units.

The Volkswagen e-Up! came in third with 398 units sold in January.

The BMW i3 wasn’t far behind though with 389 units sold.

Nissan needs to spread some Zoe around the globe… And drop that battery lease idea. It could be selling way better than it is.

I Agree.
Atleast it seem like it will dropp it when launching in scandinavia this year.
Norway will be a interesting market for the zoe.

What is defined as “Europe” here? The EU? I’m guessing the above does not include Norway.
