The 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland is the latest addition to the automaker's electric SUV lineup, with a more adventurous, utility-focused identity. As the brand continues broadening its battery-electric portfolio, the Woodland adds a more rugged design and everyday practicality. It's the Subaru Trailseeker's twin with a less cool name, 8.4 inches of ground clearance, option all-terrain tires, crossbars and decent off-road capability.
It has excellent ride quality, and is able to gobble up bad roads effortlessly. It also has Snow, Sand and Mud driving modes, which use clever software and traction management to get you out of tricky conditions. It looks coolest of the new or refreshed Toyota EVs, which also include the bZ and the smaller C-HR. Inside, the bZ Woodland feels the roomiest, with excellent legroom at the back and a generous cargo area.
