Photos From Under The Skin – Mitsubishi MiEV Evolution III
Mitsubishi MiEV Evolution III racer is this year’s winner of the 2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Electric Modified Division and 2nd in overall standings.
We already know the specifications of the racer, but have now found set of some interesting interior photos. The Japanese car has four motors, 112.5 kW each with advanced torque vectoring system. Total peak power is 450 kW.
On the battery side, we see 50 kWh pack from Lithium Energy Japan, so those must be the same or similar cells as those in the Mitsubishi i-MiEV and Outlander PHEV (also made by LEJ).
A quick look on the charging inlet reveals to us a CHAdeMO port.
