Con: Range against the machine

The three Rs are hugely important on the EV scene, now more than before since even smaller cars are starting to provide usable range and eliminate the dreaded range anxiety that plagued early electric vehicles. And this in this regard, the MINI Cooper SE falls quite short, with its 234 km (145 miles) WLTP and 177 km (110 miles) EPA range; the first one is wildly optimistic, while the second is achievable if you have the self restraint of a Buddhist monk behind the wheel.
