At first, it looked strange. The audience seemed confused and comments via the live streams were frequently rough. It’s a revolutionary design, though, and it requires time to be fully understood and appreciated.

This is probably why pre-orders have kept growing strongly days after the reveal. Further demonstrations of capabilities, performances, and reliability should help to convince consumers that it might be the right truck for them.

Personally, I like it. And, being made of stainless steel, it might be kind of eternal – people will just maintain it and change batteries every 10-20 years. The performance of the top-of-the-line version seems to far exceed real-world needs. Hopefully pickup truck users will find it useful in real-life applications as it’s now the most important question.
