Release Date: Late 2019
A fully redesigned Escalade is long overdue (current model above), but Cadillac has been making the most of that time. A new 4.0-liter V8 engine is on the way, and a plug-in hybrid model will probably be an option. Rumors abound that Cadillac is abandoning the solid rear axle in the next-gen Escalade, to be replaced with an independent rear suspension or perhaps an air suspension system. In terms of design, the Escalade will probably incorporate some exterior styling cues from the popular Escala concept, with an interior designed to attract BMW and Mercedes cross-shoppers. According to Automobile, pricing will start around $78,000.
