Pair Of Tesla Model 3s Spotted On Lombard Street

Tesla Model 3

Well look what I ran into this morning! Two Model 3s going down Lombard St in San Francisco

Not one, but two Tesla Model 3s spotted on the famed Lombard Street.

Tesla is obviously no longer trying to keep the Model 3 out of view.

Proof of this is seen here with the automaker sending a pair of Model 3s out onto the highly travelled and viewed Lombard Street in San Francisco, California.

If Tesla were trying to keep the Model 3 sightings to a minimum, the automaker wouldn’t put these cars into areas where they are sure to get seen.

The final reveal of the Model 3 in full production form will take place sometime in July. Ahead of that, a small viewing party will get an up-close look at the Model 3 on June 2 and 3.

Double down in downtown. Thanks for the closer look X 2!

I think it’s most interesting when people spied the Model 3 which was supercharging and the Tesla staff kindly requested not to take photos of the interior. If there are any surprises for the reveal, then I think there’s a good chance it would be in the interior.

This may not be the final production version but it doesn’t look like much has changed.

Doesn’t look like a spaceship to me

        1. bro1999 says:

          Ghetto spaceship perhaps.

lol, you beat me to it!

It’s very similar to the model presented at the original unveiling so no surprise here…spaceship in his eyes.

Love Tesla’s marketing. Keep it cheap, drops of honey at the time will keep the hungry drooling.
However figured this out was a brilliant marketeer. Mr. Musk, hats up to you.

Is anybody going to try to apply the German Tank Problem to the numbers on the windows of these?

    1. AlphaEdge says:

Good luck with that, as many seen so far, don’t have a number, and who knows if they are sequential, outside of a given set.

    2. Grady Kuhnline says:

The number 49 is important to San Francisco. Are there other numbers on the cars?

      San Francisco 49ers

Also, locals say the city is 7 miles by 7 miles. There is a local magazine, 7×7, that is named after that popular fact. Of course, 7*7 = 49

      1. Grady Kuhnline says:

Also, there’s a really nice 49-mile scenic drive in SF. I drove it once in my 2012 electric Ford Focus and really enjoyed it.

Sadly it doesn’t go through Lombard Street.

By the way, where is number 42 so that we can make sense of it all!

  4. ffbj says:

The excitement is palpable. Tesla hit another all-time high today, at over $332/share.

Anybody noticed what i think is a HUD projector right behind the floating screen on the second Model 3? Or is it something else?

    1. bro1999 says:

If you squint hard enough, you can also see a dancing Elon emoji.

    2. Foo says:

      Anybody see the monkey face?

    3. (⌐■_■) Trollnonymous says:

      Not seeing it there…..

      1. Foo says:

Upper right corner. Boom… Snow Monkey face. Can’t un-see it now.
