Nissan introduced in Japan new Ultraman X trim for its electric vehicle lineup – LEAF, e-NV200 and e-NT400 truck.

There is no info on the larger 30 kWh battery, although the Japanese superheros finally get decent guns in the standard equipment package.

Vehicles are used in the Ultraman TV series, in which earthly defense teams fight with evil.

One remaining question is, are the evil characters driving hydrogen fuel cell cars?

+1 For their LEAF’s power ports being bidirectional feeds for their particle weapons. Of course, it doesn’t make any sense to have a hand weapon tethered by a power line to a car (just mount it to the car and give it automatic targeting or control from within the car), but oh well.
