Chinese premium electric vehicle manufacturer NIO announced the start of the test drive tour of its second model, the NIO ES6.

The ES6 will join NIO ES8 in mid-2019 and significantly increase the sales volume for the brand as the market for a more affordable 5-seat BEV is bigger than 7-seat BEVs (by the way, the ES8 can be ordered with six seats too).

"We officially launched test drives of the ES6, our long-range, high-performance electric SUV, in Shanghai earlier today: http://www.nio.com/es6"
