All U.S.-available all-electric cars are compared and sorted by range and effective price.

As we enter May 2019, it's time to check the all-electric car offer in the U.S., which changed a little bit in the past several weeks.

Tesla rebuilt its offer, especially by upgrading the Tesla Model S and Tesla Model X, but we also received some new data for the Audi e-tron, Kia Niro EV and Tesla Model 3.

BEVs by range

The new maximum range is 370 miles (595 km) according to the EPA. A total of 9 models/versions can go at least 300 or more miles and another 11 can go at least 200 miles. Lower results, which were common 6-8 years ago, are now in the minority.

BEVs by price

The base 200+ mile range electric cars start at around $30,000 after deducting the federal tax credit.

One of the new numbers is Kia Niro EV, which at $31,905 looks interesting, but supply constraints are a problem.
