The EPA recently updated its energy consumption database and now includes the latest Tesla Model 3 Standard and Standard Plus versions.

As it turns out, the smaller battery version is noticeably more efficient than the Long Range versions. Weight difference between the M3 SP RWD and M3 LR AWD is 445 lbs (202 kg) - 3,627 lbs (1,645 kg) vs 4,072 lbs (1,847 kg).

Let's see the numbers, which are second only to the Hyundai IONIQ Electric (the departing version).
