Chevy Bolt & Baojun E100 Lead GM Global EV Sales In 2018

The biggest seller abroad for General Motors continues to be the Baojun E100, followed by the Chevy Bolt EV. Baojun (jointly owned by General Motors (GM) and SAIC Motor) recently expanded availability of their tiny two seat EV. The recently launched E200 will be replacing the E100 on the market. We do not have sales figures for the Cadillac CT6 Plug-in for China.

Historically, domestic GM plug-in sales have significantly out-performed other markets. For the first time, GM's combined global electric vehicle sales of ~47,761 have eclipsed U.S. sales. Strong international demand for the Baojun E100/E200 and Bolt EV has helped the automaker find more success globally than in previous years.
