The best-selling model for the month and for the year is, without surprise, the BAIC EC-Series. This small, all-electric car noted nearly 7,500 in a single month - and more than 27,000 so far in 2018.

BYD placed three models in the top five (Song at #2, Qin at #3 and e5 at #5), and as always in recent times JAC iEV S/E keeps the pace at #4.

The Baojun E100 - fruit of GM and SAIC partnership - achieved 3,760 sales last month and 5,342 YTD. Price of $7,300 (after subsidies) does the job.
